Kite Lake Capital is an investment fund, around 30-50 Employees.I've started as support for users on general computer and day to day queries troubleshooting from Excel, Outlook, Add-ins, Bloomberg, Citrix, printers etc.Supporting Users with MFA setup, taking ownership of setting up computers, joining to the domain, SCCM and Intune.Managing environment such as Entra ID Groups, SharePoint sites, Outlook distribution groups as well as managing mailboxes retention and archive policies with PowerShell, for compliance requirements.Also deployed Teams background images for corporate logos in meetings.Eventually, i took lead on the project to replicate and then fully migrate their on-premise infrastructure to azure.Implementing Active Directory Connect, Vnet, VPN, S2S on their office, and P2S for the users laptops whenever they were working remotely.Deploying an storage account that could only be accessed from within known network for compliance, using hybrid credentials to persistently map cloud file-shares on users endpoints, implementing an automated PowerShell script to run vaulted snapshots hourly, implementing new Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and lowering cost from the previous solution.Redesigning their user endpoint management from on-premise AD and SCCM to Intune.Implementing autopilot, and company portal for software self-management.Training and supporting users and my team throughout the whole process.

About 20-30 Employees.This company has 6 building in central London, and they rent offices for small of big companies.Our buildings provide a shared network for small offices, with fail over infrastructure.We are also consultants, any client that joins our offices needs an IT solution. That might be joining their existing network onto ours, so they bring their server, firewalls, switches, routers and we integrate. Some would have a private ip and we forward traffic over NAT rules. Some get a public ip from us and our infrastructure so they're free to manage their environment.When they already have their IT Teams we collaborate to make it work, else, if they don't have one, we provide a consultancy and we offer a solution. Ranging from private network, to management services, some clients we have created, manage and support their Microsoft 365 environment, MDM devices, corporate or personal access management over Intune, SharePoint, Outlook, distribution groups and Teams and so on.This is an all-round experience ranging from physical servers, and network Layer 2/3 hardware, to cloud services management, implementations, support and training.
