Sustainability, social justice and equity have guided my design practice over the last 15 years. I regularly ask myself “What is my responsibility to the society I live in?” and work to create or contribute to projects that help others ask the same. As well as being passionate about what my skills and expertise as a strategic designer can contribute to creating sustainable and just futures, I am also passionate about the outdoors. I have been in a lifelong struggle against gravity, climbing mountains and walls all over the world. My passion for the outdoors and love of adventure is a big part of who I am and feeds into my approach to design and the work I do. I thrive on taking strategic approaches, joining dots and helping unpack complex, wicked problems. My training as a designer has helped me refine these skills to be able to bring people on this journey with me and set the scene for transformational change.I am an interdisciplinary designer, project manager, lead researcher and Director of Relative Creative. In this role, a leading strategic design practice. I have spearheaded the design and implementation of a wide range of projects. I have extensive experience at working across all levels of government as well as with a wide range of businesses and organisations and on projects of varying size and complexity. I've managed and led teams of various sizes but am just as comfortable in non-leadership roles.
