Working within a small, passionate team to curate and deliver sensory spaces at events and conferences. Currently partnering with local, community organisations to support local events.My Sensory Space is designed for people who thrive in a different kind of sensory environment - away from bright lights, echoing voices and hundreds of people. Our spaces are carefully designed to respond to and support folks' 7 key sensory systems, including: Sight, Sound, Touch, Taste, Smell, Vestibular, Proprioception. We are working to improve the accessibility and inclusion for all folks in our community whilst also starting important conversations about how we can create more neuroinclusive spaces where different ways of being and doing are celebrated.

Creating delicious tea cocktails. I cold-brew loose-leaf tea for twelve hours before blending with locally produced spirits to create unique and refreshing cocktails. My focus is on being an ethical and sustainable organisation, supporting and partnering with local businesses and donating to local charities with 50% of profits.

Supporting young people at The Salvation Army Youth Refuge with living skills, health, housing and AOD support. I focus on bringing an intersectional, trauma-informed approach to my work to support and empower young people on their journey.

Supervising a team of case managers alongside managing a caseload of program participants. The ReConnect program provides pre and post-release support to high-risk, high-needs men and gender-diverse people in the adult justice system.

Working within the Youth Justice Community Support Service to provide intensive support to young people involved in the Youth Justice system, including building pro-social connections and capacity building to improve long-term pathways and outcomes.

Case manager within Adult Justice programs at Jesuit Social Services: Maribyrnong Community Residential Facility, a rehabilitative program providing housing, health and wrap around support for men after exiting prison; and the ReConnect program supporting high-needs individuals after exiting prison with reintegration into the community.

Working with youth experiencing barriers to healthcare, including referrals from the youth justice system. I work alongside youth to support them in prioritising their health and wellbeing and to improve accessibility of healthcare services.

Working in the high risk accommodation response to COVID-19 including: organising vaccination clinics; providing vaccination outreach to communities; on-site rapid response testing and organising community engagement events.

Type 1 Diabetes research laboratory - main project investigated potentially diabetogenic immune cells and their targets, and producing immune cell lines through retroviral gene transduction. A range of techniques utilised including flow cytometry, infusion cloning and functional T cell assays.

Investigating the plant pathogen Phytophthora Infestans, in Arabidopsis Thaliana, under the supervision of Dr Sarah Harvey and Professor Jim Beynon. Experience in PCR, Western blots, confocal microscopy and nuclear isolations.

During my first year of University I acted as a teaching assistant as Fulford School once a week. This allowed me to gain more knowledge about teaching and its options as a potential career path.
