Supports current and new SYN broadcasters to develop compelling and challenging content for SYN’s 90.7FM broadcast and its syn.org.au platform. One of only eight paid SYN support staff.

As TV and screen trainer, I ran TV and Screen induction programs for new SYN TV and Screen volunteers. At each screen induction, I taught the volunteers SYN TV structure and operations, technical operation of equipment, screen production theory, media law/ethics and program preparation techniques.

'In Joke' is SYN's flagship comedy radio program with my role being to run the show. This includes co-ordinating with publicity agents and guests, organising hosts, controlling the 'In Joke' social media accounts, with all content including graphics, photos, audio and video, produced and edited by myself.Among many other initiatives in development (including a monthly underage comedy night), an initiative that I personally run is 'Spotlight', where I go out and professionally record a local comedian's stand-up set so it can be played while they're being interviewed on 'In Joke'.

Working with both high school groups and youth from aged 12-25, I teach them how to produce their own radio shows with minimal use of the dump button. This is everything from radio paneling skills, audio editing, broadcast laws, content development and more. I also run occasional vodcast and podcasting workshops.
