Graphic Project Manager
Current• Designs all the society’s journal and book covers for print and electronic publication.• Designs newsletters, email templates, flow charts, logos and other graphics for external correspondence.• Creates UX designs for journal websites.• Manage and provide supervision for outside professional medical illustrators to create journal graphics.• Provide adequate direction for external graphic artist and assign graphic artists to tasks based on skill level. • Develop and maintain comprehensive project timelines for multiple ongoing projects that equally encourage creative exploration and production efficiency.• Developed and maintains Blood Journals branding style to ensure consistency across all print and digital publications.• Regularly monitors production priorities and quickly develop alternative plans to maintain production output when problems arise.• Creates and monitors the design budget for all projects.• Works with legal on bidding, negotiating, and contracting with necessary external resources.• Develops and oversees project schedules, ensuring that all necessary milestones are accounted for and completed.• Perform image corrections and enhancements.
