As the Director of Clinical Services at Authentic Living Counseling and Wellness, I lead a team of compassionate and skilled therapists who specialize in treating trauma, eating disorders, and women's issues. I have 20 years experience in the counseling field, and I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and Supervisor (CEDS-S), Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (CCH), and am certified in Transformative Touch Somatic Therapy.My mission is to help clients heal their relationship with food, body, and self through somatic psychotherapy, a holistic approach that integrates the mind, body, and emotions. I am also an author and a speaker, and I have published a book and multiple articles on topics such as body image, trauma, and mindfulness. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and expertise with other professionals and the community, and I regularly offer trainings, workshops, and presentations on somatic healing, nervous system health, and eating disorder recovery and prevention.
