When I say I’ve done it all, it’s no exaggeration friends! From hospitality, to years of retail management in the cosmetics industries and beyond, and over a decade in and out of some of the city’s top salons working as a makeup artist, you could say that this old horse has definitely had her day at the rodeo.In more recent years, blogging and social media have been at the forefront of my passion projects, watching the digital world expand and evolve, and committing wayyyy too much time to soaking up as much as I could to get ahead of the game. Lifestyle blogging quickly filtered off into food blogging, and what a delicious escapade that has been.I’ve represented the Aberdeen Restaurant Week squad year after year, led social channels and schmoozed with celebrity chefs at Taste of Grampian, and eaten my way around most of the city, chewing and reviewing all the way.The natural progression was to pursue a full-time job within the social media sphere to put my energies to use professionally. Enter the crazy ride that was working at the Press & Journal, and boy, was that an eye opener! From chucking myself off buildings for charity abseils and interviewing panto stars all in the name on content, to writing restaurant reviews for the food & drink team and entertainment reviews of everyone from Lewis Capaldi to the Pet Shop boys - I did it all.Ultimately, all roads have led to here, and now it’s time to shine on my own, and focus on helping the kinds of businesses that are close to my heart to shine with meLets dis-GO! 🪩✨
