A friend said it best I have a "Portfolio Career", and will just about take on anything to make money. No job is too small or big, but for me the human experience is at the core of everything I do whether it's coordinating backstage dressing rooms at a festival or leading a swim trip in the Scottish borders. This career lifestyle was born out of necessity rather than passion, and if financial stability was ever offered I would leap with both hands. It was hard to land on just one job title as I have a variety of jobs, so here's a few highlights:- Freelance Swim Professional- Public Speaker- RLSS Qualified in Open Water Management & Open Water Lifeguarding- Outdoor First Aid Qualified- Event Coordinator - Blog Writer - Content Creator Also feature in Rachel Sarah's Documentary "The Ice Mile" - https://vimeo.com/ondemand/theicemileOff the back of this I have taken to creating public speaking opportunities alongside the film where some events had me curate a talk where others wanted a film specific q&a panel. I offer this service for events, festivals and private groups, I can tailor talks and appearances to suit your needs. I have also worked with multiple brands to create content & generate interest. I am an individual passionate about wildlife conservation especially along the coast and currently looking for new opportunities of how we can keep wildlife and the environment in the forefront of water users minds.

Freelance Swim Professional & Ice SwimmerSelf-Employed May 2023 - PresentAnywhereI was fortunate enough to have a documentary film made about me. "Ice Mile" by Rachel Sarah follows my final year of training for an ice mile ( swimming a distance of a mile in water below 5 degrees without neoprene). Through this I've toured with the film at various film festivals, such as Kendal Mountain Festival, Sheffield Adventure Film Festival and Timber Festival. I also created independent screenings for my hometown of Sunderland and where I'm from in Bristol. We've also partnered with brands to offer regional screenings - Such as Finisterre in Bath & Red in Devon. Through this incredible experience I continue to offer talks and screening Q&As to people who want to show it. I feel extremely privileged to share my passion and hopefully show others that when they find their passion they can do hard things and succeed. Alongside this I have also become Open Water Certified through RLSS, and have been a swim guide introducing new people to water since 2021 through open water introductions. I'm available for hire as both a speaker or swim guide.
