About Becca Leviss

Passionate about protecting and perfecting democratic institutions, civic engagement and how philanthropy can mobilize, inform and empower actors of social and political change. I believe deeply in the power and utility of faith institutions in organizing and community-building work. These days, I'm thinking/working/asking lots of questions at the intersection of Black and Jewish theory, using history, literature, and religion as tools to understand how we accumulate and wield aspects of power, identity, and belonging towards imagining Jewish futures and pluralistic democracy. DMs always open to fellow curious wonder-ers and change-makers!
