I am a self-taught graphic designer that has used the power of Adobe creative cloud and Youtube tutorials to create a variety of designs catered to local professionals. I've been in restaurants since my intro to the work force. There were a few other jobs where I did customer service or taught an elementary school music class, but always as a side job to the restaurant. There's a lot more to bartending than memorizing countless recipes - an experienced server multitasks while keeping clear and light-hearted communication, forms lasting connections with regulars, uses demographic clues to analyze a customer and get ahead of potential problems, all while keeping the business in mind with upcharges and sales. There have been networking opportunities at my bar for my artistic endeavors, which is where I picked up my first few graphic design clients in 2019.Although I have no formal education in graphic design, in the Age of Information, I would say incessantly Googling something until it is solved is a skill in itself. Over my many projects, I Googled my way through each step and slowly added to my toolbox and streamlined my workflow. I've made landing pages, brochures, social media content, a calendar, logos, an instructional booklet, album covers, and an assortment of random graphics for professionals, entrepreneurs, and friends. My style can range from rigid and minimal for a more corporate attitude, or feel like a scrapbooking project you put together by hand. My goal is to get to know my client's personal style and goals, then to translate it in a way that reflects the brand.
