Over the past year (2021-2022) I have discovered a newfound passion for baking and cake decorating. I worked at the well-known bakery Get Caked. This is where I took part in decorating a wide range of birthday, celebration cakes and a variety of baked goods like brownies, blondies, cookies and cupcakes. This came as a complete shock to me as it was something I had never tried before but thoroughly enjoyed. Also, during my time at Get Caked I had responsibility of social media. This is where I helped create content from behind the scenes in the bakery ready for their social media accounts. This ranged from Instagram pictures, reels and different tik toks. Overall social media and anything creative is a skill I always thrive in. Being able to keep up with trends and explore the world of social media is something I’ve always had a great passion for. I now have the opportunity to explore this in my current role as a Digital Marketing Manager.
