Currently working one on one with a young male client who is diagnosed with autism. My current client is non-verbal and quite aggressive. In the past I have worked with two other clients with this agency, another young male with autism, who is also non verbal and aggressive. The other client was quite independent and diagnosed with FASD. Responsibilities include: cooking, cleaning, peri care, encouraging exercise, transporting clients to appointments and activities, participating in client activities, administering multiple medications, encouraging verbal knowledge, teaching clients different coping skills, utilizing CPI techniques to ensure safety, completing log notes and tracking sheets, grocery shopping and other house responsibilities.

I worked as a full time nanny for two young girls during the COVID pandemic, who both were severely immunocompromised. Other than the daily duties a typically Nanny is asked to complete, I would also administer medications multiple times a day, take the kids to the doctors appointments, and make specialized meals. Hygiene was essential and protocols were followed to ensure safety for the children. Clothes were changed on entrance of the house, frequent hand hygiene, phone, keys and wallet sanitized. I was also expected to Lysol and sanitize the house multiple times a day.
