As a small business owner, I work closely with a variety of clients each year, creating and editing imagery for their personal and professional uses. Besides event and photography for individuals, I also work with a variety of publications (my editorial work has appeared nationally in Saveur, Culture, Food + Wine, and others) and creative organizations in the Midwest like the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, advertising agencies, and local media sources. I manage the social media marketing creation for my business. With 11 years of customer service management, I have a keen appreciation for anticipating client needs and working closely with individuals and businesses to achieve their goals.

As a founding photographer and contributor for this regional online food magazine, I worked with writers and editors to provide on-demand photography work to illustrate pieces. My love of documenting food culture led me to create a series of photo essays about farmers and the animals they raise titled "Farms in the lens", and my love of food led me to develop several recipes, including taste-test award winning Dulce de Pumpkin pie, and a recipe for Afghan Kaddo. Over the course of several years, I worked with an illustrator and two writers on a series called the "checklist project" in which we ate our way through every independent restaurant on Central Avenue in Northeast Minneapolis, University Ave/ Greenline in St Paul, and Lake Street in Minneapolis. Other projects included photographic coverage of events, content creation for advertising pieces, contributing to social media accounts, and reviewing restaurants.
