Joined Chassam Recruitment at the very beginning of its journey, initially joined as a Senior Recruitment Consultant and quickly hired my own team. This earnt a promotion, first to Team Lead and then to Recruitment Manager in quick succession. I continued to build accounts, working with clients I’d worked with since starting out in recruitment in 2010. This saw me recruiting both permanent and contract roles as per each clients need. I also naturally expanded the market I covered, focusing on OpenSource roles and then digital marketing roles as required by my clients. I worked on an exclusive basis with clients 90%+ of the time and had solid conversion ratios, especially CV to interview and interview to placement. I was also top biller year in, year out, managing to continue to recruit whilst also growing a team. Joined Energize as a Senior Recruiter and continued to specialise in Microsoft technologies across the Yorkshire region and a small part of the North East. Built up numerous accounts, working closely with clients and hiring for all roles within their tech/software teams. This saw me expand my areas of focus to include software testers, business analysts, project managers and many other roles. As a senior in the business, I also led training sessions and mentored other recruiters.

Completed the Sthree training academy whilst also developing my skills on the job day to day. Gradually progressed into a role with more responsibilities which included mentoring trainee recruiters.

First port of call for prospective contractors and temporary staff who were looking to use an umbrella company or set up a limited company. Worked with each contractor to decide on the best solution for them and provided quotations and forecasts prior to onboarding. I advised on processes around timesheets, expenses and payroll and provided support as required.I worked closely with recruiters and built up several accounts who would exclusively refer their contractors to me and request I set them up with a payroll solution.
