Director Of Military Family Programs
CurrentNMFA is the leading nonprofit that stands up for, supports, and enhances the quality of life for every military family through bold advocacy, innovative programming, and dynamic and responsive solutions. Responsibilities of Director of Military Family Programs include:* Overseeing development and implementation of goals, objectives, and plans for NMFA programs, including Operation Purple and spouse employment/education initiatives to meet the evolving needs of military families.* Utilizing planning, communication skills, and attention to detail, to ensure that all NMFA programs are being designed and executed in a comprehensive, cohesive, and thoughtful manner. * Project managing deliverables cross-departmentally by creating schedules, assigning tasks, communicating needs, and keeping projects in scope, on budget, and on time.* Championing MFP’s central role in delivering NMFA’s mission by partnering effectively with other NMFA teams.* Training, supervising, evaluating and developing department staff* Creating and maintaining a process to review program effectiveness, including tracking of awardee and attendee progress and outcomes. Continually assessing program effectiveness and make recommendations to executive director for improvement.* Serving as an Association spokesperson for NMFA programs.
