With over 15 years of experience in education, consulting, startup, and nonprofit sectors, I am passionate about creating and delivering high quality programs that improve opportunity and outcomes for high-need communities. As the Director of Military Family Programs at NMFA, the leading nonprofit that stands up for, supports, and enhances the quality of life for every military family, I oversee our Operation Purple programs, bringing military kids and families together for meaningful experiences as well as our spouse employment and education initiatives.Prior to joining NMFA, I have worked in a variety of roles to support organizations facing transition and growth by building processes, structures and resources to improve and scale mission-focused work. I leveraged my skills in market strategy, curriculum alignment, instructional design, and professional development to deliver true results for start-ups, schools, districts, foundations, corporations, and advocacy organizations. I am most proud of my work as a coach and manager using asset-based community design to build strong teams, foster professional development, and infuse joy and purpose into the important work we do.
