I am an experienced Library Media Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in public education for the last 10 years. I currently serve as the Library Media Specialist at Berea Middle School in Greenville County. I pride myself on forming strong connections with students and staff in my current role. Prior to working as a school librarian, I served as an early childhood classroom teacher for 3 years in the midlands of South Carolina.I am skilled in Research, Educational Leadership, Classroom Management, Co-Teaching, and Digital Curation. I am a strong education professional with a Master's degree focused in Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina-Columbia. I also hold a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina-Columbia. Currently, I am earning a Doctorate of Education (EdD) in Professional Leadership from Converse College with anticipated graduation in May 2022. I am constantly striving to provide the best service possible to my patrons and community.
