Using the latest technologies, GEM helps to connect classrooms with global partners to increase global awareness and empathy across borders on topics emphasizing human rights and human responsibility. Initiatives in-line with 21st Century Learning skills to help students become a part of the global economy.

-Collaborated with teachers, parents, and students in an urban setting to enrich educational experiences in accordance with the 21st Century Learning Standard and SES Tutoring. -Prepared and delivered daily lesson plans for language arts, mathematics, science, and character education.-Helped to plan interactive hands-on learning experiences through special family event nights.

-Designed and implemented multisensory curriculum all subject areas for autism spectrum or related disorders student in the least restrictive environment using the in Relationship Development Intervention (RDI) philosophy; acted as a one-to-one paraprofessional as student transitioned to the school environment. -Acted as a liaison between consultants, school district administrators, case managers, special education teachers, service providers, and families to ensure understanding of Individualized Education Plan goals and objectives; Participated in all aspects of the Individualized Education Plan review process.-Completed Advanced Proficiency Assessment training for the state of New Jersey.-Organized and facilitated groups at KidsAhead Center for Development including craft clubs, summer camps, and special event social groups.
