Forming connections, solving problems, and leading teams are three of my favorite things to do. Whether it be in the workplace, in classes, or in extracurricular activities, I am always looking for opportunities to improve. I am passionate about campus involvement and am currently a member of Student Alumni Association, Women in Business Association, Healthcare Administration Club, USUSA Days for Girls Club, USUSA Trail Running Club, and serve as Alpha Chi Omega's Birthday and Recognition Chair. I also have the wonderful opportunity to work on USU's A-Team doing Orientation Sessions and work as a Connections Peer Mentor to help incoming students as they transition to the college world. While I love to be involved on campus, I am just as engaged in the classroom. I embrace challenges and am an eager learner. I recently received my A-Pin Award for maintaining a 4.0 GPA while taking 15 credits for two consecutive semesters. When I am not in class or helping somewhere on campus, you can find me outside. I enjoy hiking, camping, boating, and especially distance running. Last month, I ran my first half marathon and am signed up for another in November! I often dabble in watercolor painting, calligraphy, and embroidery as well. Balancing a rigorous class load, several involvement opportunities, and personal interests is not an easy task. However, I have learned that with effective time management skills, adequate preparation, and lots of grit, anything is possible.
