Local Casting - Analyze and create a character breakdown from feature film scripts. Disseminate to agencies & local actors. Hold several casting sessions where I work with actors on specific roles and tape their auditions to send to directors & producers. Hold callbacks and help decide who to cast for any roles. Do paperwork and deal memos with actors and producers once cast.Extras Casting - Discuss with directors and ADs what the needs are for extras on a given movie. Book and coordinate all of the extras coming prepared to set (this sometime includes wrangling on set). Communicate with costumes, hair, make-up, locations, ADs and sometimes other crew departments to make sure that they have all the info they need about the extras and that the extras have all the info they need to come to set prepared and ensure that everything runs smoothly.

I have been working for the past year as a freelance filmmaker and editor for local non-profit arts organizations. I have created short commercials, music videos, sponsor trailers, and interviews. I have learned a lot about working with producers from these projects. Sometimes I am given complete independence on the video and other times the producer wants very specific guidelines. I am capable of working with many different personalities and always bring my own innovative thinking to the table to help cater to whatever the intended audience may be.

I work in the administrative side of a local theatre company. My primary roles include ticket sales, customer service, screening phone calls, data organization and entry, and filing and mailing. I sometimes assist with financial reports and outside publicity events as well. In addition to box office work, I also act as video archivist for all of the theatre's productions.

I coach athletes ages 13-15 on a synchronized swimming. Our team is nationally competitive and practices 4 days a week. Coaching has provided me with strong leadership skills, a cooperative work ethic, and a greater understanding of communication between individuals (coaches, parents, and swimmers). I also choreograph for the team and find and edit music.Before coaching in Cincinnati, I also spent a summer in Kingston, Jamaica as the sole coach for three different synchro teams in the area.

I have worked on several local commercial sets and feature films as a PA. On these shoots I have been the go to for any problems that need fixing or the fill in for any roles that are missing, along with typical PA duties like lunch runs and walkie distribution. On one set I did clapboard for the entire shoot in addition to helping with grip set up and take down.

Worked in the art department on two independent feature films in the area. Organizational skills helped a lot with time management on projects in order to get things done in time for shooting, and also to help find and return props to stores. My eye for detail and resourceful nature helped with innovative thinking for set dressing (several ideas to make things work out when they weren't going as originally planned by the production designer) as well as keen continuity work for on set dressing.

I helped produce a weekend long film festival along with a team of other student interns at the College of William and Mary. This involved creative production (such as video production and graphic design), product design, programming, and film research and writing. I organized our guerrilla marketing scheme which included a campus frisbee drop, as well as mailbox postcard delivery and creation of a viral video to vote for a cult film to be screened. In conjunction with the curated festival, I helped reach out to international colleges to garner student short film submissions for our shorts competition. I also acted as a mentor for a filmmaking workshop for middle school students in association with the festival.
