LA College International was a startup university that came into being during the online education boom. Unfortunately like many ed startups, it didn't make it to maturity. But starting a university was a heck a lot of fun!Specifically, I managed new course development within healthcare, business, and criminal justice program areas for a small curriculum design team. Eventually, I led the course design process among freelance subject matter experts and curriculum designers, and supported a huge variety of academic initiatives. We needed educational media but had no software. I overcame this gap by downloading trial software, creating media within brief trial periods, and integrating the media into our courses. Working at startups made me quite resourceful.

Also an education startup, I designed curricula for this emerging online business university, supported overall program design, contributed to university marketing campaigns, and wrote the website.Courses in accounting, finance, small business management, real estate investing, marketing, digital marketing, and construction technology and management all benefited from my input.I led the design for a digital marketing program in partnership with a team of 6 local marketing experts.And I regularly supported subject matter experts in crafting academic content of a superior instructional quality.
