My journey involved:Innovation and Design: I designed and developed the patented product based off a prototype the inventor created, ensuring it met the highest standards of functionality and user-friendliness.Manufacturing and Sourcing: I was instrumental in identifying and partnering with manufacturers to produce a high-quality device, overseeing the production process to maintain product integrity.Team Building and Leadership: I assembled and guided a dedicated team of professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence that was crucial to our success.Business Growth and Licensing: After successfully establishing the company and leading its development and growth for five years, I strategically transitioned the business by licensing out the patented product to Strike Pty Ltd, a global distribution leader in telecommunications and automotive accessories, ensuring its continued success and market penetration, before I exited the company.

The Surf Cap - World's first surf/swim cap that can be worn in the water for surfing, swimming and other water sports without the need for a strap under the neck and stays on the head in rough water and while immersed.This was a love project. My good friend Champion Surfer Paul Wayland invented this cap after trying everything else that was on the market only to find that they were either uncomfortable with straps under his neck, or didn't stay on in competitive surfing. Being that he was bald he needed a solution that kept his head and ears protected for hours at a time out on the water, without being uncomfortable or a distraction when he was competing.I sourced suppliers and materials, and finalized the product's development and set Paul up to continue his journey forward with his unique invention.
