Made Redundant Feb 2024 - As the sole owner of the digital design department, my role involved not only creating and navigating a brand new process from scratch but included the sourcing and attraction of the best talent along with transformative growth across multi disciplinary teams. I was responsible for collaborating closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, creating workshops, writing processes, conducting and managing interviews, and overseeing the entire process, hiring perm heads within our consultancy across Product, Content, Service Design and UX Research. The focus of my role extended to building and nurturing strong relationships with candidates and stakeholders.Beyond these initial aspects, the role included optimising hiring processes, leveraging technology trends, including AI, for efficient recruitment, and championing a positive candidate experience. A significant achievement involves a remarkable 35% increase in the team size, showcasing an ability to strategically expand and fortify the workforce.

I joined Amazon's Internal Recruitment team on a FTC, with view to build their new Barcelona office, focusing on Advertising and Marketing roles. Demonstrating an understanding of the unique requirements within the advertising sector and EMEA market, I sourced and recruited top-tier talent while building on collaborative relationships with hiring managers and ensuring a smooth candidate experience from end to end including onboarding and assessments.I took a proactive approach to simplify the hiring process staying on top of current trends within my industry. My commitment extended beyond the typical requirements; I actively contributed to the social media and sourced via job boards and joined book clubs and within the Diversity and Inclusivity team.
