In this role I designed , developed, project managed and implemented the creation of online assessments and job coaching resources used nationally across the Sarina Russo group of companies. Flagship project within the scope of my work is the Discovery program. An online job coaching experience that targets, trains and resources individuals to find meaningful and lasting employment. This coaching program has been developed for jobseekers within Sarina Russo Job Access nationally, as well for high school students to assist them to explore job options and find employment.Other tools within the scope of my work, included online career assessment and work readiness assessments, as well as online support communities for apprentices and students.

For 33 years, the Sarina Russo Institute has led the way in launching and enhancing the careers of thousands of individuals around the globe. My role here is to foster partnerships on the north side of Brisbane to offer relevant workplace training solutions

I coach clients to assist them in finding and sustaining work. My case load consists of people assessed by DEEWR as having significant barriers to sustaining work. ie. Long term unemployed, homeless, mental illness etc. I work in conjunction with a team of consultants to create support plans to assist them to overcome their barriers, maintaining employment, set goals and move forward. I also facilitate weekly ‘Job Clubs’; a group initiative to train and equip job seekers to find employment. From this I have developed a training package surrounding the area of job seeking and interview skilling.

My main role was to work withe Managing Director to develop the VITAL Training Package now used to train youth workers across Australia and overseas. Using the raw material created by VITAL, this package is a comprehensive written manual and video training series. My role was to turn that raw material into a package that could be utilized by others.On top of this I was lead facilitator at a number of training events aimed at adult learners in the youth work space. Other areas of input included developing networks amongst trained youth workers, supporting the school based programs, developing resources for group facilitation experiences, website management, and facilitating professional development training packages in the area of team work and group facilitation.
