Simple Plan Foods is the franchise model I built with two partners to franchise the Midwest Meals concept. They both have a lot of experience in branding and franchising. One of them developed and owns a large restaurant franchise chain. The other one co-founded the Franchise Broker’s Association and is a franchise advisor, attorney and CPA.

Growing up, I was always active between sports and working out. I am from a small rural northern Wisconsin town but had the opportunity to live in Southern California and study the health and fitness culture on the coast. When I returned to Wisconsin in 2015, I had the realization that (at the time) there were no meal prep services in a multi-state radius. As I finished my degree, I decided to launch Midwest Meals out of a shared commercial kitchen and operated as lean as possible. Week after week, our clients kept telling their friends...and as they say, the rest is history. We quickly outgrew that shared commercial kitchen and began construction of a brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Eau Claire, WI the spring of 2017. After a long period of construction, we finally opened the brand new storefront and commercial kitchen at the beginning of 2018 - where we currently produce all of our meals. Co-founder of non-profit organization with goal of building new skatepark in Ladysmith, Wisconsin. • Established ties with community, worked extensively with the local government.• Raised $30,000 through fundraisers and grants.• Led and motivated the Coalition to be active in achieving our goal.• Purchased and installed new equipment, worth over $75,000, at auction.• Organized events and competitions, hosted between 30-75 people.
