About Tyler Becker

I recently graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering Technology. I have 5 years of experience in both construction and architecture through my four placements with the University’s cooperative education program. I have valuable experience ranging from working as a laborer in the field to becoming an assistant project manager on one of the University’s most ecofriendly dormitories. I recently accepted a position at the Albert M. Higley Co. as a Project Engineer. I am eager start my career with Higley, develop professionally, and grow into a leader with this company. A design class in high school first sparked my interest in Architecture. I was fascinated by the complexity of all the systems that are found under each beautiful building. That interest still exists, but I have also developed many skills and passions for architecture and construction management through my cooperative placements. I find it most gratifying to take an obstacle, whether it be in the office or on the jobsite, and to be able to unfold a clear solution. My co-op involvement has presented me with numerous opportunities to develop these and various other skills and has given me the confidence that I can achieve great things.
