Heidi's facilitated and lead the development and establishment of the STEM group - including identifying and recruiting the top 13 men of power and influence within Australia's STEM environment, adapting the existing MCC model to fit the needs of the STEM industries, collaboratively worked and included all relevant industry stakeholders, assisted Elizabeth Broderick and The MCC through the initial set-up phase, and recruited and on boarded both a permanent program director and senior female leader (Ann Sherry) to convene the group. The first STEM meeting occurred on 24 October 2016, and now is officially part of the MCC Community of Practice. Heidi remains actively connected and involved in supporting the MCC to realise its potential of advancing gender equality across industries.
