Colleagues describe her as "Beckie is a senior trainer at Sea World, San Diego. She has worked in the education department, at Dolphin Stadium as a trainer,and at Shamu Stadium as a whale trainer where she achieved her senior one trainer designation. Her current position is in animal care where she works directly with different animals providing care that meets their particular needs. She was hired in her current position to train animals in that area in order to provide the park vets a better opportunity to work with the animals. In doing so she has also trained others in this critical area. Beckie is a team player and is well respected by her peers. I have watched Beckie's love for animals grow since she was a small child. Her interest in them and what is best for them has continued to grow. She was determined as a young person to work with animals and found her niche at Sea World. As her Mom I am proud to watch her as she continues to mature and am happy she followed her dream and supports the mission of Sea World. "
