I supervised a staff of 15 people in 10 different stations, as well as the satisfaction of the customers. I worked rotating shifts to open and close the store. I was responsible for the cash registers and bank deposits for my shifts and ensured the timeliness of customers' orders.

In a large factory setting, I worked from 5am until work was done between 10am and 3pm. On an industrial sewing machine, I sewed around the edges of the mattress tops and sent them on for processing. I worked with a small team to finish work under alloted time. I stood and sewed the entire shift.

I made cold calls with an auto-dialling system to clients for the purpose of updating information. In a seated position for hours at a time, I used a headset to make calls and I input data in the computer system. My completion rate was consistent.

Using nine types of industrial sewing machines, I sewed garments from cutting board to final inspection, in stacks of 5 to 50. I taught new sewers to sew, use machines, and to use patterns. I kept track of inventory and requested items when low. I was responsible for my own schedule, key, and the security of the building. I inspected finished garments that made myself and mostly those of other sewers.

I handled POS transactions, end of day reports, and deposits for rental shop, answered phones and greeted guests. I organized, troubleshot, and filed all paperwork from guests. I guided and advised visitors and first-time skiers and riders. For the first two years I taught young children, ages 2-12, to ski and to enjoy the sport. All my students skied by the end of their first day.I repaired rental gear: snow pants and gloves; on my home machines.

Using a variety of earth-friendly, biodegradable cleaners and washable, reusable rags, I cleaned private homes and vacation rentals solo and with a two to five member team. Responsible for driving teams to job sites in a timely and safe manner. Possibly too thorough and meticulous.

As a key holder, I opened and closed the store and cash registers. I managed the sales floor and register though the day, often working solo. I enjoyed helping guests find what they need, and advising them when I couldn't. I secured POS transactions and end-of-day reports on an antique computer & register as well as completing sales by phone. I delivered deposits to the bank.This store was often mistaken for a tourist information center and I enjoyed helping visitors find their way around Leadville.

Using Creative Curriculum, I engaged a class of up to 16 three to five year old children, in learning academics, social, and behavioral skills. I greeted and prepared children for facilitated, learning activities. I ensured their participation, comprehension, and happiness. I evaluated children’s progression throughout activities and after they left for the day. I worked with parents and updated them daily and in conferences.

I greeted guests to the motel and area. I recorded reservations and took payments in person, on the phone, through e-mail and from website. I resolved reservation conflicts. I sharpened my guest service skills, tourist information and assistance. I provided concierge services and housekeeping management and office file organization. I maintained an outgoing and upbeat professional personality and strong customer service.

I greeted and thanked every customer. By understanding, explaining and suggesting, I helped guests figure out and find what they needed. I cut fabric to customers specifications, often helping guest decipher how much based on their pattern instructions. I received, priced, organized, set-up, and stocked merchandise. I ran a cash register that totaled out everyday. When Hancock made the switch to computer terminals, I learned the new system quickly and I was sought when co-works needed assistance. As shift supervisor, I counted registers at beginning and end of shifts and calculated end of day reports. I helped employees with scheduling and was responsible for securing store at the end of the shift. As a supervisor of the shift, I was responsible for the cash registers and end-of-day reports, store keys and secruity, a staff three employees, and the guests' special needs. Along with my team members, I measured, cut, & sold fabrics, sewing notions and accessories, furniture, and home accents. I enjoyed helping customers and suggesting solutions for their projects and problems.
