When I was in high school, my dream career was swimming with dolphins in a Zoo or aquatic setting. Majoring in Biology seemed to be the path to take. However, being a good student, my first year Biology class and lab in college didn't go so well! I soon steered toward communication classes, and by the end of my senior year, I was enjoying writing for the school newspaper and learning basic graphic design. I loved writing so much I ran with it! I worked at numerous positions that featured writing proposals, marketing brochures, press releases, newsletter articles and so much more. I eventually brushed up on my graphic design skills and soon was creating invitations, brochures, posters, signs...you name it! One other element I was introduced to was community involvement through coordinating volunteer opportunities, being involved on local Chamber event committees and hosting drives for nonprofits and veterans where I worked. I found out I truly love to give back. I see my strengths as being a collaborative leader with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects meeting deadlines on-time, and also establishing excellent customer relationships.Specialties: Technical Proficiency:• Adobe InDesign
