As a Reporting Analyst, I specialise in transforming complex data into visually accessible, actionable insights that drive business decisions. My role involves gathering and interpreting data from various sources to create comprehensive reports and dashboards. I collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely reporting.

While continuing to work on my academic interests in Psychology, I was afforded the excellent opportunity to progress from the Support team to Payroll. I prepare and run high quality and timely outsourced weekly payrolls for NHS trusts and health boards. The role also involves resolving payroll-related queries and cases, producing custom reports, managing data, HMRC reporting and working closely as part of a strong and effective payroll team.

I moved away from events management to broaden my skillset while dedicating more time to my Masters in Psychology on the side. In this position, I was on the front line in our customer support function, acting as the first point of contact for technical and service queries. I was responsible for providing a high-quality query resolution and consistent service experience to internal and external clients. While this began as an office job, the pandemic resulted in the company moving to remote working on a permanent basis.

I was promoted to Corporate Events Coordinator, manager of internally led Corporate Events, and a senior member of the Communications and Participation Team. My role included coordinating all Corporate Events at the University of Worcester, thinking creatively about new approaches to our events, and working closely with the Executive Team to turn their event goals into a reality.

I coordinated corporate and recruitment events. In one academic year, I led and assisted well over 200 events. These events included: - Conferences - European Wheelchair Basketball Championships reception - Inaugural Professorial Lectures - VIP basketball pre-match receptions and buffets - Art exhibitions - Book launches - Official openings of new facilities (incl. University of Worcester Arena) - VIP Graduation dinners - Corporate staff parties - Ad hoc corporate events - Interview/Applicant days and events - University Open Days - Ad hoc recruitment events.Side note: During this position I have recently achieved the Team Leaders Certificate with A-grades across the board!

In September 2013, I was asked if I would be interested in working at the University of Worcester as a temp in the Events Team. Although it began as a 1-month contract, they asked to keep me on for much longer, having not only helped with administrative duties, but also helped coordinate large-scale corporate and recruitment events.

I joined a team of student ambassadors to write a musical, interactive production about GCSE options that would be performed to schools across the UK. Pupils would vote for each character’s outcome by using an interactive remote controlled software called TurningPoint. This HELOA award-winning comedy show led to us being selected to perform at London’s National History Museum in 2014.

I performed nearly 250 gigs in four years under the stage name Becky Rose, in a variety of locations including Hereford, Worcester, Birmingham, London and Manchester. Some of the more prestigious venues in which I played include the Troubadour Club and Amnesty International Headquarters in London. From the 37000 musicians who applied to attend the BBC Introducing Musicians Masterclass, I was lucky enough to be among the final 40 chosen. This allowed me to visit Abbey Road Studios and talk with artists such as Calvin Harris and Mark Ronson, interview Kissy Sell Out personally, and hand CDs over to the bosses of such companies as Columbia Records and XL Recordings.One of my songs has made it to number 1 on Amazing Radio’s Chart, and I have been played as an unsigned artist on Radio One and BBC 6 music.I was also mentored by Air Management, of Air Studios, London, as a result of my dedication to songwriting and live performances.

Coming to the end of my time at high school, I took on a temporary retail assistant role on weekends. It was daunting, given it was my first stint at customer service! But it helped give me the confidence to pursue more people-facing roles in the future.
