My role at ICAEW was to drive the ongoing vision and strategy for the ICAEW’s – ‘World of sustainable economies'. The campaigns I devised and deployed were to attract new members, maintain existing members, and promote and amplify the value, services and expertise Chartered Accountants provide to business leaders, policymakers and the public. The fundamentals of my work were threefold:• Increase awareness of the institute and the Chartered Accountancy profession as a whole.• Ensure any risk to reputation was managed, and maintain trust in the profession. • Continue to enhance the value of the ACA qualification.I was responsible for all of ICAEW's flagship corporate campaign activities - UK Business Confidence Monitor, Economic Insights and More Than a Number podcast - and provided strategic, creative and tactical advice/support on major commercial, public affairs, non-profit and partner led campaigns.Led a team of brand executives, managers and external creatives, media buyers and ad agencies - which include freelancers, micro agencies and creative/media agencies.
