Chris has over 20 years experience in live and recorded sound. For many years he worked as a technician and taught modules in Sound Production and Live Sound on the Music Technology course at the University of Hull. In 2019, alongside his wife, Kristina Jones, Chris founded Beckview Studios in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. Beckview Studios serves the recording needs of Scarborough’s creative community as well as attracting artists and musicians to the area from further afield. Our high quality recording studio appeals to and works with musicians, music producers and other creative industry professionals by creating high quality products which showcase the talents of our clients both nationally and internationally. We also work with non commercial organisations such as theatres, churches, choirs, schools and other charities. We’re committed to bringing your recording project to life! From initial ideas to the final product - our team provides guidance and support throughout the entire recording process.
