Siva Power (re-branded from SOLEXANT), San Jose, CA 2010—present Senior lead technician responsible for fabricating and process third generation ultrathin-film solar devices. Main operations include semiconductor ink printing, chemical deposition via sublimation, chemical bath deposition, transparent conductive oxide sputtering, photolithography and PV-IV testing. Responsibility include conducting complex multi-variable DOE’s on one solar device layer while ensuring all other processes were conducted to baseline POR to ensure resultant data could reliability be used for process decisions.While Solexant conducted chemical bath processing of large area solar module devices for process qualification and development. Executed DOEs and document results for both the R&D and Pilot Manufacturing Lines. Key Achievements• Collaborated with Principal Scientist and Process Engineers to develop a baseline Cadmium Sulfide deposition process for module-size solar devices. • Implemented process improvements directly contributed to achieving performance milestones for the pilot line solar cells and modules.• Currently operating all R&D solar device deposition equipment (sputtered Mo and TCO, evaporated CIGS, chemical bath CdS, metal grids, and photolith device isolation) as well as conduct all I-V, QE, spectrophotometer, XRF, and Dektak characterization.• Converted from temporary contractor to permanent hire based on exemplary performance.

Photolithography technician in charge of coating, exposing and developing 500mm X 500mm glass substrates used in the Medical Imaging arena.

Provided SEM images of resist lines, useful in line profiles for submicron DNA features. Capable of identifying optimum synthesis focus and exposure dose.Identified and analyzed the composition of particles, artifacts associated with the manufacturing product line. Determined optimum CD-Focus – Monitor CD as a function of stepper focus

Provided hands-on Process Engineering support to a high volume 150mm class 10, CMOS and ABiC production wafer Fab, sustaining Plasma Etch.Developed, implemented and analyzed SPC tracking reports to monitor, maintain process stability, manage process efficiency, measure improvements and identify process trends on sputtered metals, thermal oxide, poly and nitride, wafer mapping and metrology equipment.
