Thesis Title: An Implantable Electrochemical Multi-analyte Sensor Array for Metabolite Monitoring Developed multi-analyte electrochemical sensors utilizing encapsulated enzymes and biocompatible poly(ethylene glycol) microstructures for detection of glucose, lactate, and pyruvate analytes using redundant arrays. Tested and optimized the fabricated sensors in vitro and in vivo (in rats). Synthesized redox polymer and fabricated multi-analyte biosensor arrays using photolithography methods. Fabricated titanium dioxide nanotubes and electrochemically deposited platinum for use in the development of an anti-bacterial surface. Served as laboratory safety officer and a member of Materials Research Lab safety committee. Supervised two undergraduates in research. Teaching Assistant for 3 undergraduate courses.

Honors Thesis Topic: Microhemodynamics of Stenosis Domains: The Role of Cholesterol Adsorption on Stenosis Formation Developed a mathematical model of blood flow assuming Non-Newtonian fluid flow and incorporating stenosis formation.
