As founder and principal of Becky Duca Interiors, I am a classically trained and educated Interior Designer, creating interiors that evoke visual interest + functionality for residential clients. With extensive experience and knowledge of the use of materials, color, furniture of varying time periods and inspiration through worldly travels, I create eclectic, yet timeless interiors.

As a senior project designer, I work alongside my project team to complete interiors projects, both small and large scale. My duties are as followed but not limited to: sourcing furniture, fixtures, and finishes for clients in both the residential and commercial fields, communicating with clients, contractors and subcontractors, preparing budgets and timelines, developing design concepts, presenting design concepts, preparing client proposals for approval and upon approval ordering and tracking of all items, service for damaged goods, installation of projects, provide follow-up support to clients, develop and maintain productive and effective relationships with clients and vendors. As a lead designer, I worked alongside a close knit team to complete interiors projects, both small and large scale. My duties were as followed but not limited to: sourcing furniture, fixtures, and finishes for clients in both the residential and commercial fields, communicating with clients, contractors and subcontractors, preparing budgets and timelines, preparing client proposals for approval and upon approval ordering and tracking of all items, service for damaged goods, installation of projects, marketing (advertisements), website design and management, and general office duties. As a Junior Associate, I worked alongside architects and designers on a ground up hospitality project in Lake Charles, Louisiana. My responsibilities included but were not limited to: design documentation of the typical guest room floors, communicating with the client, digital model building, formatting digital presentations and maintaining relationships with sales representatives while keeping the library organized and up to date.

As an intern, I worked along side MCS lead designers for Hospitality Projects all over the country. My responsibilities included but were not limited to: specification writing, communication with sales representatives and vendors, formatting digital presentations, coding plans, photoshop rendering, assembling submittal binders, reviewing and completing brand transmittals, light budget work, and selecting fabrics, wall coverings, flooring, furnishings, lighting and accessories all compliant with brand standards and ADA.

As an intern, I helped keep website orders organized and up to date, styled a photo shoot featured in Bungalow Magazine for Stone Textile and assisted the head designer's layouts that were being presented to clients for their residences.

As a sales associate, I merchandised the products into displays, and interacted with customers and did my best to satisfy them.
