Leading development, land use, and policy analysis with a focus on transit-oriented development; market-rate, mixed-income, and affordable housing; middle housing; and displacement vulnerability and prevention. - Led development code update for downtown Albany, Oregon to remove obstacles to development.- Updated land use chapter of the Comprehensive Plan for the City of Beaverton.- Served as assistant project manager and lead planner on an Urban Growth Boundary expansion analysis for Bend, Oregon, leading multi-disciplinary analysis and documentation as well as policy development and development code amendments. - Served as primary project planner and assistant project manager for the South Cooper Mountain Concept Plan for a 2,300-acre newly urbanizing area, integrating land use, transportation, and natural resources into a long-range concept plan and focused community plan.- Served as primary project planner for the development of a coordinated land use and transportation plan for Yaquina John Point in Waldport, Oregon, along US 101, addressing future land uses and zoning, pedestrian and bicycle connectivity and safety. - Provided land use planning and GIS support for Highway 99E Corridor Plan through Woodburn, Oregon, including writing major portions of the plan document and developing implementing land use code language. - Researched and wrote major portions of the Land Use Technical Report for Draft Environmental Impact Statement for Salem River Crossing project in Salem, Oregon.- Helped update Parks System Development Charge methodology for Hillsboro, Oregon.- Assisted with development code overhaul for Salem, Oregon.- Used GIS to explore alternative future land use scenarios, and researched and analyzed expected service costs and revenue generation for each scenario for the City of La Pine, Oregon.- Provided GIS analysis and document review in support of natural resource protection ordinance development for the City of Happy Valley, Oregon.- Helped develop a budgeting spreadsheet for capital replacement and routine maintenance costs for the City of Tualatin, Oregon, Parks and Recreation Department.
