About Becky Holden

I am a Presidential Award In Mathematics and Science Teaching awardee with over 40 years of teaching experience across public and independent school settings. As a recent graduate of Mount Holyoke College with a Master of Arts in Teaching Mathematics, I am always looking for opportunities to support teachers and their students in mathematics in their pedagogical approach and to build content knowledge. My experience as both a primary teacher and reading consultant, in addition to my mathematics studies, has informed my work as a collaborator, with teachers in creating standards and learning progression-informed mathematics lessons. While sharing this work nationally, I continue to think deeply about collaborating, planning, and coaching to support mathematics.
