I represent parties in small claim hearings covering a wide breadth of issues. I also attend on hearings concerning mortgages, personal injury, bankruptcy petitions, debt recovery, and case management conferences, directions hearings, interim injunctions, applications for summary judgment and applications to set aside judgment.I am amenable to instructions in all courts across both the Northern and North-Eastern Circuits.

I am a voluntary Appropriate Adult for 'SOVA', covering South Yorkshire custody suites. Having completed the necessary training, I am able to sit in police interviews with suspects under 17 years of age and vulnerable adults. Alongside my role as a paralegal at Irwin Mitchell LLP, I also volunteer as an advisor at Leeds Citizens Advice Bureau. I carry out my own research into the issues which clients present, which have included harassment, employment and Wills and estate matters.

Whilst studying at BPP, I was a Student Representative for Lincoln’s Inn. In this role, I attended meetings at the Inn and communicated matters between the Inn and students. I also organised an Advocacy Workshop, to enable students attain a qualifying session in Leeds. We invited a circuit Judge and QC to act as judges. The day was hugely successful, with all students giving positive feedback on what they had gained.

In this voluntary capacity I have advised clients involved in legal disputes. My partner and I have interviewed clients, researched the relevant areas of law involved and consulted a qualified solicitor about the case before presenting the client with our advice.

I have helped organise events focussing on the Arms Trade Treaty, Oxfam's own 'GROW' campaign against world hunger and also a campaign against land-grabbing.

As a researcher-resourcer in a niche marketing company, specialising in both recruitment and affiliate marketing, I was responsible for researching new campaigns, media and marketing agencies and marketing events, as well as being responsible for the company’s search engine optimisation.
