Emerald Dolphin Investments was created by an entrepreneur to develop new start-ups in Florida. My role involved managing each new business and overseeing all operational activities. The main business was real estate development in Boca Raton, focusing on residential waterfront properties.

Mediatique is a boutique media consultancy based in central London focusing on corporate strategy and business planning. Executive Assistant for two Project Leaders (Controller of BBC2 and Head of Business Management), ensuring the smooth running of this high profile and confidential project, which straddled Public Policy and Strategy disciplines and determined the nature of future funding for the BBC.- Extensive diary management for Project Leaders, ensuring their time was managed effectively and they could meet all necessary deadlines- Managed organisation and planning of internal company- and country-wide away days and events, resulting in successful engagement and involvement, on all levels, to the project- Coordinated production and distribution of BBC ‘green paper’ on Charter Review ensuring punctual deliveries to opinion formers, Government ministers, industry contacts and thousands of employees- Managed complex archive system to ensure that all relevant research and project information was kept confidential and was available to project members upon demand

Appointed to support CEO and CFO of a new Thomson Reuters start-up project called Kalends. This Reuters subsidiary was to be established in the “future event” information market and sold to existing and new clients.- Successfully coordinated transatlantic presentations and sales meetings with internal and external clients and suppliers in the UK and North America territories, resulting in improved communication within the organisation- Organised CEO and CFO’s diaries, ensuring their maximum effectiveness and use of available time- Handled all national and international travel arrangements, planning itineraries and ensuring accommodation and meeting venues were properly arranged- Worked with PR agency to manage product launch and marketing campaign to assess need, viability and targeting, resulting in identification of markets and potential clients- Provided editorial support by writing features on relevant “future events” for website publication- Coordinated highly confidential change program with CEO, reintegrating the Kalends project into Thomson Reuters’ larger information and data market
