With over 30 years of experience as a speech therapist, I have dedicated my career to helping people of all ages and abilities communicate and thrive. I founded and direct Nature's Edge Therapy Center, a non-profit organization that provides speech language therapy using animal-assisted therapy (AAT), hippotherapy, and horticulture therapy to patients on a 65 acre ranch. I am passionate about creating innovative and effective treatment programs that incorporate the healing power of nature and animals. I am a certified Hippotherapy Clinical Specialist, an Animal-Assisted Therapy Instructor, and a Registered MBSImP Clinician, NMT certified. I also manage and train a team of therapists and staff, secure funding through grant writing and fundraising, and provide education and training opportunities for educators in related fields. I am proud to have received a Presidential Award from the Wisconsin Speech and Hearing Association and to have spoken at several national and international conferences and events. My mission is to exceed expectations with my industry knowledge and impeccable drive for success.
