I am responsible for the successful running of all events for up to 200 people and I also take on the role of the master of ceremonies for weddings. I have up to 15 members of staff who report to me. Other duties include liquor stock taking, organising the rota, billing, setting up rooms, attending meeting, cashing up and payroll. From June 2012 I have taken on duty manager shifts where I am the main point of call for any incidents, issues or complaints within the hotel on that shift which I would have to provide a solution for. I am also cross trained to work in the restaurant and from the beginning of April 2013 I have moved to the food and beverage supervisor position to run the restaurant 4 shifts a week whilst still maintaining running weddings and events on a weekend. Here I used to work on the checkout department until June 2010, I then got promoted to checkout supervisor where I oversaw the running of the department and supervised up to 25 people. I also deal a lot with customer issues either face to face or other the phone.
