Building upon the past two years of dedicated work by the Shasta College Heavy Equipment Operations, Logging, and Forestry/Natural Resources teams coupled with invaluable input from our industry advisory partners, I look forward to launching innovative jobs-focused initiatives designed to sustainably serve our students, our community, our partners and, perhaps most importantly, our beautiful forests.

Manage $8.6M grant-funded forest management and logging operations certificate program with direct oversight of budget, planning, reporting and expansion strategies. Work closely with all key stakeholders including public agencies, private industry associations, employer partners and education colleagues.

In tandem with my areas of responsibility for workforce development and communications, my role as the Community Relations Manager (CRM) focuses on building relationships and developing partnerships to fulfill the mission of the Sierra Pacific Foundation in promoting healthy communities. As such, the CRM is responsible for working with community organizations, non-profits and youth programs to identify, research and make recommendations on levels of support for projects aligning with the Foundation's mission.

Improve engagement company-wide with all our crew members and their families as well as with our education partners to increase awareness of the many career pathways in our company and in our industry. Administrative support for Division Manager and Superintendent, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and Crew. Duties include data entry and processing, project cost accounting, personnel coordination, timecard entry, travel planning, event planning, calendaring, project management and other special assignments as designated.

As a consultant/independent contractor, I contracted with two main clients in the greater Sacramento area: SJS Products and Dono dal Cielo Winery. My projects were varied and diverse ranging from executive-level support to branding/marketing and graphic design.Other clients included an olive grower and oil producer, two dance studios, a non-profit, and a startup ministry.For SJS Products, I worked directly with the President to support him and his international sales teams filling supply chains in high-tech contract manufacturing as well as supporting engineers working with OEMs at the design level. Projects ranged from traditional sales presentations to a complete website rebuild and asset rebrand of the company to planning annual corporate meetings and coordinating travel and events for a multi-national team.My work with Dono dal Cielo provided an opportunity to gain experience in launching a start-up boutique winery in the Placer Foothills of California. From messaging to branding, I developed the winery's social media marketing strategy and presence as well as built and launched its successful e-commerce website. I also assisted in planning member events and customer appreciation occasions.
