I'm the proud recipient of the prestigious NASA Kentucky Space Grant graduate fellowship. Two incredible co-PI's will oversee my research project: Dr. Benne Holwerda and Dr. John Kielkopf. The project itself, titled "Hunting for Dark Matter in Spheroidal Galaxies," involves identifying and vetting strong gravitational lens candidates in low-mass, spheroidal galaxies so that the galaxy's baryonic (star) - to - dark matter mass can be estimated. The data to be analyzed come from the Kilo Degree Survey (KiDS), and we aim to be able to use the vetted strong lens candidates to justify a more in-depth follow-up project using the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). This project was recently added to the Galaxy And Mass Assembly (GAMA) and is projectID 363 (A Vetted Catalog of Strong Gravitational Lensing Elliptical Galaxies). Serving as a main point-of-contact for issues, I assist in the management of the Computer Resource Center operations at the Ekstrom Library and iTech Zone. This includes hiring, training, and evaluating tutoring staff, resolving computer hardware/software problems, liaising with Computer Information Systems faculty, conducting test review sessions, and providing tutoring to students as needed.I look forward to hosting REACHout events, promoting REACH services, and presenting Student Success seminars throughout the semester. Manage capital expenditures for service centers globally. Cradle-to-grave project management of special projects (facility relocations, etc.). Handle service centers' standard work process, flow & linkage, and continuous improvement. Use ACE guidelines to evaluate processes for robustness and process certification.

Directly manage over sixty hourly production employees in my production area and multiple teams of skilled trades. Maintain a heightened level of employee engagement, along with a balance of material handling support and maintenance coordination, to meet and/or exceed production goals for production shift. Engage internal customers (other departments) as well as external vendors to ensure a quality product reaches the final consumer. Provide employee training and develop revised job instruction to streamline processes on the line. Accurately pay employees. Manage and improve on scrap materials in area. Engage skilled trades in corrective and preventative maintenance to support production. Recently moved into dimensional engineering. Identify root cause and resolve dimensional issues that affect both the body shop and the rest of the plant (in training)

Responsible for measurement and verification of energy performance contracts. Active in engineering development, project implementation and solely responsible for post-installation follow-through for performance contracts in Kentucky and Indiana. Includes light project management.

Managed equipment projects from beginning to end, including but not limited to: specification and plan review, scope proposal, submittal communication, ordering, maintaining the financial health of a project, invoicing, billing, scheduling, delivery and project closeout. Involves project coordination with internal and external players.
