The Pennsylvania Homecare Association (PHA) is a statewide organization of nearly 700 home health, homecare and hospice providers. As the Workforce Development Director for the Pennsylvania Homecare Association, I lead the creation and execution of innovative workforce development strategies to support the career growth of direct care professionals across Pennsylvania. I launched and manage a job board, providing expanded recruitment opportunities for both members and non-members, and introduced a statewide Direct Care Professional newsletter, delivering valuable resources and educational content to healthcare professionals. I also design and implement workforce programs focused on skills development and career advancement,collaborating with educational institutions and industry leaders to ensure these programs align with the evolving needs of the homecare sector. Through data analysis, I continuously optimize these initiatives to drive meaningful outcomes for our members and their workforce.

As a Senior Nurse Recruiter at Geisinger Health System, I led the transformation of the nurse recruitment process, insourcing talent acquisition from external agencies and successfully hiring over 500 nurses (LPNs & RNs) My expertise includes overseeing recruitment for outpatient clinics, population health, home health, and more. During the pandemic, I played a pivotal role in redeploying over 2,000 employees. I also served as a project manager for the redesign of our nursing recruitment website. My passion for process improvement and recruitment marketing led to streamlined hiring processes and increased candidate engagement positioning Geisinger as an employer of choice within healthcare.

In this dual role, I led recruitment and retention initiatives for CareGivers America focusing on staffing needs across 55 counties in PA and NY. I developed strategic recruitment campaigns that targeted healthcare professionals at all levels, and collaborated closely with hiring managers to meet operational needs.Additionally, I managed employee perks programs to enhance retention and led the implementation of new recruitment technology. I also served as their internal Marketing Coordinator. My marketing expertise helped build the company's brand through digital strategies and content creation, increasing candidate engagement and driving growth.
