Becky is a New York-based freelance writer, photographer, and designer with extensive experience creating search optimized content for blogs and websites. After graduating from Yale University, she spent nearly a decade working in the arts and publishing industries in New York City. She left the corporate world to co-found Bespectacled Editor, an online content writing and editing firm where she now works as a ghostwriter, copywriter, and online content strategist.In addition to her work with Bescpectacled Editor, Becky writes for Scripted, one of the web's leading content marketplaces, and Stevenson School, a PK-12 boarding and day school based in Monterey, California that specializes in place-based, hands-on, innovative learning and character-building.Beyond the content marketing sphere, Becky has written for The Yale Daily News' Insider's Guide to the Colleges and Kirkus Reviews. Her creative work has been published in Amaryllis, The Eunoia Review, decomP magazine and The Wilderness House Literary Review. She has written feature stories for Martin: The Journal of Acoustic Guitars and Kirkus Reviews. Also, in 2012, Becky co-wrote an original musical, which debuted at New York's Ars Nova Theater and is currently being developed into a musical podcast series.While Becky spends a significant amount of her time writing, she moonlights as a graphic and interior designer. In 2019, Becky launched Punch Line Design—an online retail store featuring hand-designed, feminist-leaning and irreverent housewares, textiles, clothing, and gifts. In its brief 2 years of existence, Punch Line Design has become one of the top performing stores on Etsy.
