As part of my Digital Marketing Masters I did an internship at Office Friendly. Undertaking a number of tasks including creating and designing all social media content for all clients and scheduling these on Hootsuite. Reporting on social media analytics for all clients. Controlling the KascAid (marketing division of Office Friendly) social media accounts and researching who our influencers are. Following these influencers and creating a relationship with them. Email Marketing, creating and sending out bespoke and generic emails on behalf of clients. SEO, optimizing the entire KascAid website and creating new content. Researching keywords and implementing these onto the website. Using Google Analytics to analyse who is visiting the website.

Managing a team of 31 people on the Hallam FM Street Team, ensuring that all shifts are covered, briefs are produced and in place prior to shifts, managing and organising all the kit, working on proactive opportunities and ensuring all sponsorships are up to date. Coming up with ideas through creative sessions and implementing them into campaigns based on our clients needs and wants, then project managing those campaigns from start to finish. Working alongside programming, digital, charity, scheduling and sales to make sure everything runs smoothly throughout a campaign. Organising briefs from the team and ensuring they meet the specific deadlines, creating proposals, costing/planning up proposals.

Working as a media planner and buyer across offline channels (Press, Outdoor, Radio, Door Drops & Direct Mail) for one of the world’s leading advertising agencies. I undertook account handling across several national clients and building strong relationships with suppliers such as Trinity Mirror and Mediaforce who look after a large amount of press titles, these relationships have helped when negotiating rates. Skills have been gained across the following programs - DDS (Media Explorer), Addynamix, Ebiquity, BRAD. Day to day work included researching and putting together competitor analysis’ for pitches/existing clients, taking briefs and putting together appropriate media schedules depending on budgets, billing and invoicing, sending briefs to suppliers, creating media landscape documents for clients, sorting data in Excel, comparing creative work of competitors and giving insight, monitoring campaigns and giving post-campaign reports.

Chase Medical is a recruitment agency for Nurses. Here I did a number of tasks that required speed and accuracy. My main tasks included chasing and processing documents so that nurses could be recruited onto the agency, getting references to ensure Nurses were suitable, chasing and processing timesheets to ensure everyone got paid for the correct hours they worked, answering any phone or email queries and helping out with marketing projects and tasks. I had to be highly organised and have good time management skills. My time at Chase Medical saw me hit my target every month and sometimes tripling this. In January 2015 I won best performer of the month.

I took a placement year out of University to work at Wilson Field. Tasks throughout my time were – data import and management, mail merging, events and project management, answering incoming phone calls, filling in engagement packs for legal requirements on cases, creating adverts to go in trade magazines, networking, dealing with suppliers and introducers, social media management, updating the website, writing industry blogs and campaign creation. For managing events I had to send out all the invitations, book decorations and venues, turn up to the events to ensure the days went smoothly and stay after to clear everything away. I was also in charge of managing the Sheffield Wednesday box ensuring that clients were invited and arrived on time.
