Supporting CCH & Caseware on Windows, mainly GUI support. I left to pursue a more challenging role.

I was headhunted as the first tech for the UK arm of IOI. I worked independently for most of my day, learning on my feet and supporting worldwide customers on software and hardware tickets, as well as creating procedure to ensure excellent service to our expanding UK client base. As the UK business grew, I transitioned to an operational role requiring my technical knowledge and also my administrative and organisational skills.

Originally I worked for the company when it Turning Point Technologies (TPT) in the capacity of Helpdesk coordinator. I worked my way up to Support Engineer, mostly remote support, installs, configuration, and some onsite work. In 2007 the company was acquired by NCS and later by LGS (2010). During these turbulent times, I was able to adapt learn new skills and transitioned to the role of Contracts Manager, but later returned to tech in the role of Technical Projects Manager.I took voluntary redundancy in Nov 2011, enjoying Christmas off and spent several months on/off in Granada in Spain with my partner before looking for work in March 2012.
