A podcast aimed at making us all more informed, inspired, and connected educators. Alongside an inimitable, genius of a co-host named Ben Kalb, I got to interview some incredible people for this show. Our goal was to bring insights from intellectual, impactful giants in education and beyond to the teachers in our local school district, but we ended up with regular biweekly listenership in over 25 countries. In collaboration with classroom teachers, educators of all sorts, authors, coaches, leadership, psychologists, historians, and so many more, we were able to offer three seasons of successful medium-length interviews through a format combining pedagogy, expertise, theory, and tangible tips for classroom success.• Prepared and conducted interviews to bring information to thousands of educator listeners around the world.• Provided detailed show notes and sketch notes for audience access to important concepts. A collaboration with the IBM facility in Boulder, CO, Innovation Academy is a 3-week summer program that brings Kinder-5th grade students to work alongside IBM employees & Skyline pre-engineering students to develop solutions for a smarter planet. The program lasted three weeks each summer for the four years I was involved as co-director, while the management and planning lasted year-round. • Managed and supported staff of 25-30 SVVSD educators & student workers.• Marketing and communications for families during registration and throughout camp implementation.• Designed (and supported educators in designing) innovative, project- and problem-based curriculum for student experience and growth, culminating in a community showcase of student-developed solutions for a smarter planet, ranging in topics from health and wellness to energy and smarter cities.

This position served the St Vrain Valley School District system across 50+ programs and schools. It supported and enhanced innovative teaching practices both at the Innovation Center and throughout PK-14 settings across the district.
