With a mental health background, I received a M.A. from Boston College in Counseling Psychology. After working as a mental health therapist for 12 years, I chose to refocus my passion to supporting parents and train as a postpartum doula and lactation counselor. I am an advocate for early intervention, believing strongly that those early months and years of life are incredibly formative and special.My approach as a postpartum doula and certified lactation counselor is to listen to what the parent needs and then provide nurturing support, developmental information, and the opportunity for their rest and self-care to encourage the well-being of parent and baby. Throughout my career, my favorite group of people to support has been parents. I feel passionate about newborn care, the positive impact of breastfeeding for mom and baby, and encouraging the growth, well-being and success of parents.
