As the SFCC Global Engineering Manager at Disney, I led a worldwide initiative to align core eCommerce code across all shopDisney SFCC realms and sites. The new codebase was rolled out successfully at the beginning of 2023, allowing a single team to manage core feature functionality and security fixes, cutting development costs by a third for these issues. As part of this project, I also initiated a Global Governance forum, which allowed all business teams in all regions to participate in a monthly review of roadmaps to share needs and upcoming actions. This helped ensure that roadmap work was not duplicated across regions, and consolidated "global" feature development into a single engineering team. As an SFCC architect, I assisted as the SFCC SME for multiple new site launches and realm configurations. I worked closely with our Salesforce support team to ensure that all regions had insight to upcoming Salesforce releases and changes. I also ensured that any high priority issues arising in any region's site were documented and shared with the appropriate teams. Additionally, I worked very closely with the Disney Operations team to ensure safety, security, and scalability across all SFCC sites worldwide.

As a Technical Architect at LiveArea, I was responsible for coordinating the technical integrations on new implementations of SFCC projects. I worked directly with the business and their vendors, as well as internal developers, to enable clear communication across all channels to remove integration roadblocks.I also wrote detailed technical documentation for both internal development use, as well as for the client to use after the site has been launched. The documentation included diagrams, sample code, and configuration details for staging and live environments. This documentation fully explained how the client's SFCC site interacted with other systems and vendors.These integrations and their documentation spanned many types including payments, fraud control, international ordering, OMS, product syndication, marketing and transactional emails, and taxes. The documentation also covered general SFCC site data like internationalization, multi-currency, shared cart, or jobs that import and export data from the site and other systems.Finally, I created and documented my development team’s git strategy and process for CI/CD using Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, or other build automation tools the client may have requested.

As a Technical Architect and Developer Lead for XCentium, I worked with both the clients to gather requirements, as well as directly with my development team to assist with core development work. - Architected full site migration from the client’s previous vendor to a new SFRA site and realm. Worked directly with the client team to gather requirements and create tickets and roadmaps based on information provided. - Lead development for the following integrations on the new site: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Vertex, Tealium, Yotpo, and Sift Science.- Worked with SFMC and the client success manager to enroll the client in a beta program for abandoned cart emails and journeys. - Fully integrated the following payment providers: Authorize.net using tokenization, ApplePay, AmazonPayments, PayPal.- Implemented Gift Certificate purchase and redemption on the SFRA platform.- Managed site builds to development and staging using Jenkins and the sfcc-ci repository.- Responsible for the full codebase and a team of 3, including a certified SFCC developer, a front-end developer, and a QA associate. - Implemented a code review and documentation process.

I was co-owner and developer for Liquid Data, LLC. At Liquid Data we did boutique web development for small businesses nationwide. We would help the client from design, through the various iterations of the development process, and finally handoff. We worked with many platforms, including Wordpress, various eCommerce integrations, MLS using RETS and others, and even some home-grown platforms.

As a senior web developer consultant with Zindigo, I assisted in reorganizing and implementing versioning in the existing codebase. My day-to-day consisted of a mix of both front end development (using jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, and other basic technologies) as well as backend development using a LAMP stack.

As the lead web developer consultant at Cotton & Co, I lead the web team as we developed, maintained, and supported enterprise web-based and mobile websites. I was responsible for the development of each client's web site and portal, mobile applications, enterprise application and database interfaces, and web-based forms. I also researched, evaluated, and recommended new Internet and digital tools, technologies, and applications in support of the mission, goals, and objectives of the firm.

During my time consulting at the Plastic Card Factory, I reorganized their IT department and assisted in launching 3 new websites (factorymart.com, factorymart.net, and store.factorymart.net). I also overhauled their graphics department, streamlining the design process from intake to print.

As a senior developer at Red Van Workshop, I worked with many clients to customize and improve their Salesforce Commerce Cloud implementations. Some of these customizations include:- Integrated SCA Authentication with Stripe for EMEA sites to meet updated EU payment standards.- Created custom sitemap feed based on SEO recommendations for a multi-site, multi-locale and multi-currency client.- Used external and internal auditing tools, and SFCC best practices, to decrease load time on a site by nearly 50% on the PLP, 30% on the PDP, and 60% on the homepage.- Participated in a full cart redesign and custom promotion- Architected and finalized worldwide geo-ip redirect and request system- Implemented a custom loyalty program- Lead migration of content from an external vendor to a new SFRA 4.4 implementation using Page Designer

As part of my duties as the Technical Team Lead on the Greetings squad I assist in creating and implementing digital solutions to business problems while making sure we follow agile best practices.Implemented Continuous Integration to our development environments using Salesforce Commerce Cloud best practices. This has allowed our developers across all squads move code faster to QA, speeding up our ticket resolution time.

Lead the full team on bringing our primary platform (Salesforce Commerce Cloud) up to current standards so we can be agile in our development going forward.Helped migrate an internal sales platform to our primary eCommerce platform, making purchasing more seamless for consumers.Lead an initiative to set core standards for the team at large, including documentation, best practices, and streamlined workflows.

As a frontend developer for Jarden Consumer Solutions/Newell Brands I worked as part of a cross functional, IT development team responsible for new application development, integration and/or improving existing applications to meet the changing needs of the business.As part of this, I assisted with development of web based applications in a public facing, global e-commerce environment (Salesforce Commerce Cloud [formerly Demandware]) including integrations with external systems and third parties such as CMS, CRM, ERP and payment processors. My involvement spanned all aspects of front and back end development, from making pixel perfect sites to integrating code with backend systems.I also maintained and supported existing applications including content updates, functional enhancements and issue resolution, as well as performing QA and regression testing of web components including, but not limited to, browser and device compatibility.

At RepZio I was responsible for all front end development using any framework deemed necessary including, but not limited to, Foundation, Bootstrap, and other custom frameworks. I was in control of all Project Management for each website launched from beginning to end - from speaking with clients to get their dream features, to building each interactive portion and page of the site, to publishing the site live after completion. Each site created is a custom eCommerce website that uses RepZio’s B2B eCommerce platform. RepZio's eCommerce sites are built on ASP.Net MVC 4. I assisted in training new hires, and documenting new features for the websites as they are created by the developer and implemented by me. Most launched site maintenance and technical questions came through me as well.

I headed the web development team and was the lead developer for ProofStuff.com. I assisted the other developers in FileMaker development and updates for their main product, OnSite. In addition, I handled technical support questions and training.

At Tycoon I handled email deliverability for a list of 200k+ subscribers, moving their bounce rate down from over 8% to < 2% over a period of 3 years. I was also responsible for Internal networking/Tech Support for over 5k subscribers. I handled all internal Tech Support and tech purchasing. I also ran the technical side of their affiliate sales system.
